Team Fellowship Award

I am extremely honored to have been selected as the recipient of Charity for Champions. Thank you for your generosity; receiving this scholarship means a lot to me and will greatly assist in the continuation of my education. As I continue my education at Mississippi State University, I will be forever thankful for receiving such a gift. Receiving this scholarship has boosted my self-confidence in knowing that I not only have completed a very important task, but I have also taken the responsibility of creating a foundation that allows me to reach my goals for the future. I believe in the importance of earning a college degree. I also believe in giving back to the community by helping others in financial crisis, so that they may not have to face the financial burdens that I did growing up in a single-family household. I feel truly blessed that I have received such a scholarship that will give me the opportunity to fulfill my dream. Additionally, I will prove that I have what it takes to be a successful student. I can never thank you enough for this gift.

I am attending the University of Pittsburgh on a football scholarship. My future plans include finishing school in the next 3 years. Following that I will the getting my master and eventually getting into a law program. Dr. DeSimone’s Charity for Champions scholarship means a lot to me. I’m thankful for receiving this award, and proud to accept it.
