Being recognized and chosen as a scholarship recipient brings me immense joy and profound gratitude for organizations such as Charity for Champions that generously give to young students trying to obtain a higher education. This scholarship will help me pay for my many years of college as I work towards getting my master’s degree in psychology. After finishing college, I plan on becoming a social therapist; eventually I would like to open my own practice for social therapy and help a great number of people become their happiest selves while simultaneously being healthy.

I am extremely grateful and honored to receive this award. Thank you, Dr. DeSimone and the committee of Charity for Champions for this amazing opportunity and for recognizing my academic achievements and hard work throughout my high school career. I am so thankful for this aid that will allow me to further succeed in my academic pursuits. In the fall, I will attend the University of Miami on a full ride where I will pursue a Bachelor of Architecture accredited degree. I hope to specialize in residential architecture and maybe one day open my own firm which will focus on creating sustainable homes.

I am so honored to be receiving the medical interest award and grateful to the charity for champions team for granting me this opportunity. This award and the scholarship that comes with it will aid me towards pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Florida, where I plan to further pursue my passion in medicine and work with medical research projects. I hope to continue on to receive a masters and work in the field of regenerative medicine. While at UF, I want to be involved on campus through clubs and community service, hopefully leaving a positive impact on the worlds of medicine and engineering. My ultimate goal is to study sports medicine at the University of Florida. I’m passionate about supporting athletes in reaching their maximum potential and recovering from injuries. For me, this scholarship is essential because it relieves the financial strain of attending college and lets me concentrate entirely on my classes and real-world experiences. With this help, I can commit to achieving academic excellence and acquiring the real-world knowledge required to work as a proficient sports medicine physician, prepared to have a significant impact on athletes’ health and wellbeing.

Thank you very much for choosing me as a recipient of this Leadership award. Representing the Charity for Champions is an honor. I will be attending The University of Georgia this fall., majoring in nutritional science and public health. Law school may be on the horizon as well. I am hoping that I can one day combine my desire to help others with my passion for living a holistic lifestyle to advocate for big changes in our community. This scholarship will help offset the financial burden.

As a student interested in the medical field, I hope to attend medical school where I can earn an advanced degree in pediatric medicine. I want to work in a teaching hospital where I can learn from the experiences of other healthcare workers and share my knowledge with new students. I will use my knowledge and skills to help give children a chance at a better life. In addition, I dream of volunteering for Doctors Without Borders where I can travel to other countries to provide families with the healthcare they need in times of emergency. The Charity for Champions Scholarship has helped me in pursuing my undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College. This monetary award will help ease the financial burden of higher education and help me to attend my dream school.

Madison Egan

My name is Madison Egan and I was selected as the recipient of the Leadership Award. I will be attending the University of Florida to study an undergraduate degree in Health Science. I hope to attend medical school in order to become an Anesthesiologist. This recognition provides me with a sense of pride in the difference I have made at my high school in just 4 short years. After moving to a new state at the beginning of my freshman year, it was clear and important to me to get involved. My freshman year I became a champion when our varsity soccer team won the state championship. Throughout these 4 years I was able to grow my leadership skills in various ways allowing me to be elected the Student Body President my senior year. This role allowed me to apply my leadership skills and knowledge in order to make a difference in my school. I am thankful for this scholarship as it will aid my future academic endeavors.

I’ll be attending FIU in the fall to study in their international business program. I hope to graduate fast so that I can work on a master’s degree. During college, I want to find a job that will give me the experience necessary for the field of work which will allow me to thrive later on. I’m also planning on joining the Rugby team at FIU. As for the scholarship, It means a lot to me to be recognized for my work. You don’t expect anything in return when you’re doing community service, so it’s nice to have received this honorary award. I always enjoyed helping others, and the animal shelter I worked on helped me understand how nice it is to sacrifice your time and efforts for the sake of others. I’m proud of myself knowing that my work with SOS Paws had a positive impact and that my efforts were recognized. I hope that at FIU I can keep providing for the community and its members.

This opportunity lets me get elbows deep into the inner workings of systems such as local small business regulatory boards, as many countries around the world thrive off small businesses. I hope to become an expert with an interdisciplinary knowledge of economics, finance, and business who is able to apply her legal studies background to a broader environment. Such experiences in combination with the opportunity to think outside the box and develop an innovative perspective would not be possible without this scholarship. This scholarship will enable me to delve into my fascination with the intersectionality of international economics, finance, and legal studies; by going through higher education, I would have the platform to broaden my understanding of how the world works, achieve my dreams of becoming a corporate lawyer, and contribute to the growth of our economy on a global scale.
