In the future, I hope to become a teacher, inspiring future generations. After being a teacher for some time, I would like to become a principal. I’d love to be a teacher because they make an impact on so many lives, and I believe they’re fundamental to our society. This scholarship helps me fulfill my dream of going to college to pursue my dreams, and I’m beyond grateful for that. Winning the “Team Fellowship Award” makes me feel proud of my character, and I like to reflect back on how I grew not only as an athlete, but as a teammate.

I plan to attend UC-Santa Cruz pursuing a career in Astrophysics. What charity for champions scholarship means to me is supporting those who never give up. Those who, despite hard challenges, are determined and this scholarship rewards them. I’m forever grateful to be awarded the Personal Achievement Award and I’m blessed with this generosity. This acknowledgment motivates me even more as I prepare to attend Florida Gulf Coast University this fall to major in Political Science.
